Mia is a Chicago-based interdisciplinary artist and writer. She is a secong-year graduate student in the Visual and Critical Studies program at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She is interested in exploring the multiple nodes and expressions of grief in the face of catastrophe, and how art and writing might situate themselves as a space of coping and coming together. She is also passionate about poetry, movies, painting, and her dog.
